    Salary: 2025-2026 Salary Schedule $51,007- $90,538 (based on years of experience and education)

    Retirement Contribution: Greater Albany School participates in the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS and OPSRP) on behalf of its employees. Upon eligibility, the district contributes 6% of an employee’s salary to their Individual Account Program (IAP). Eligibility is defined as working at least six full calendar months in a qualifying position. Part-time employees working at least six months and 600 hours in a calendar year will qualify.

    Position Description:
    The primary purpose of this position is to develop and implement a comprehensive counseling program to meet the needs of all students in Greater Albany Public Schools. A primary focus is to assist students in meeting and enhancing their social, emotional, and academic development. Counselors will provide direct guidance and counseling services helping students develop their abilities to learn, work and live in a partnership between home, school and the community. Ideal candidates will actively engage in the improvement of counseling practices through coaching, evaluation and staff development.
