Job Overview - Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:
Compensation: $160,000 - $166,000/year

Responsibilities as the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:
- Mental Health Care: Diagnose and treat psychiatric conditions across telehealth and in-person settings using evidence-based practices.
- Medication Management: Prescribe and adjust medications, monitor treatment plans, and educate patients on use and side effects.
- Collaborative Care: Coordinate with nurses, PCPs, social workers, and health educators to ensure integrated patient support.
- Patient Support: Provide counseling, follow-up care, and planning for patients with ongoing mental health needs.
- Documentation & Access: Maintain accurate EMR records and support continuity of care through case management and referrals.
- Licensure: Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license required.
- Certification: Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification, DEA registration, and BLS certification required.
- Experience: 1+ year of post-residency experience providing psychiatric care in outpatient, primary care, or telehealth environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and comfortable navigating telehealth platforms.
- Skills & Attributes: Empathetic, patient-focused, and team-oriented with excellent communication skills and a commitment to culturally responsive care.
