Referral Care Coordinator Job Description
Granny Nannies in Winter Haven wants to add another team member to our office! The ideal candidate is warm, compassionate, has scheduling experience and welcomes all clients with joy.

The environment can be fast-paced because the coordinator is responsible for staffing client referrals promptly with the right Aide for the client.
This position works 1 day per quarter in the Clermont FL location.
Requirements
First contact to clients, caregivers, and insurance companies as a representative of Granny Nannies. Must be professional, possess excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and efficiently follow through with tasks.
- Above average communication skills
- Must be Bi-Lingual (Spanish)
- Excellent Phone etiquette
- Highly Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years administrative office experience preferred
- Be familiar with medical terminology for geriatric population
- Must be responsible and dependable
Responsibilities (this is not a complete list)
- Professionally answer the business telephone
- Offer referrals to aides from the client date base
- Prepare new client packets for assessments
- Set-up in home assessments with clients
- Maintaining Software System in a “live” format. This includes client information with accuracy and consistency, referrals, service orders and schedule changes for caregivers.
- Perform Business Overviews with new Aides
- Vetting new applicants
- Updating spreadsheets
Abilities
- Excellent and factual communication skills between all other office staff, clients, and caregivers
- Accurate and thorough data entry
- Effective communication and listening skills with ability to document new information
- Ability to stay on task in the event of interruptions
- Ability to create a way to organize data, so that tasks are not overlooked
- Able to unify various schedules and preferences between caregivers and clients
- Organize and maintain files in a soft ware format accessible for all office staff
- Be familiar with caregivers, their skills, availability and their current client schedules
- Be familiar with client’s needs, preferences, and schedule
- Able to ask pertinent questions to gather the necessary information to set the caregivers/clients service up for success
- Able to meet occasional tight deadlines for clients in need of caregiving services
- Most of all the candidate whose compassion resonates through the phone and office team members.
- Must be a team player and able to support the Lake County Office as needed.
Job Types: Full-time
Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
