Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals and families, focusing on crisis intervention, behavioral health, and child welfare. This role requires strong leadership skills, as the LCSW will supervise junior staff and contribute to workforce development initiatives. Duties
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine client needs and develop treatment plans.
- Implement crisis management strategies and interventions for clients in distress.
- Supervise and mentor junior social workers and interns, providing guidance on best practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients, including referrals to community resources.
- Engage in motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients in their recovery journey.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance skills related to addiction counseling and behavioral health.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Proven experience in supervising staff within a clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong skills in crisis intervention, motivational interviewing, and addiction counseling.
- Knowledge of child welfare policies and practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with Medicare regulations and services is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Commitment to ethical practice and continuous improvement in service delivery.
