Development Department Assistant

Location: Hybrid – Midtown Cleveland (3+ days onsite/week, based on meetings & projects)

Type: Contract (2 Months)

Pay: $29/hour

Start: ASAP (coverage for Leave of Absence)

Staffing Solutions Enterprises is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Development Department Assistant to support a nonprofit organization’s fundraising team. This is a 2-month contract position with an immediate need. The role is hybrid, requiring at least three days onsite weekly, with flexibility for more depending on project needs.

• Key Responsibilities:Provide administrative and logistical support to the development team
• Maintain and update donor records in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge/NXT
• Assist with event coordination and donor communications
• Process gifts, generate acknowledgements, and help prepare appeal materials
• Produce queries, reports, and manage online donations and registrations
• General support including scheduling, document preparation, and data entry

1. Must-Have Experience:Blackbaud Raiser's Edge/NXT

• Gift entry, batch entry, donor record updates
• Query/report generation, Online Express integration
• Uploading and linking documents in NXT

1. Understanding of gift acknowledgment and appeal processes
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
3. Ability to work in-person at the Midtown Cleveland office
