About Job

PRP Workers provide community-based comprehensive rehabilitation services. PRP collaborates with the treatment team to support the promotion of resilience, facilitate development or restoration of appropriate skills, increase positive interactions across multiple environments, development of living skills, and to promote successful integration into the community and the use of community resources for all persons served. The PRP Worker reports directly to the Rehabilitation Specialist. Under Maryland statute, the PRP and its staff provide community-based comprehensive rehabilitation services and promote resilience, facilitate development or restoration of appropriate skills, increase positive interactions across multiple environments of the persons served, develop living skills and promote successful integration into the community and the use of community resources. The PRP worker provides direct care to participants in the PRP program.


- PRP Worker Responsibilities -

  • Work as an integral part of the treatment team to deliver evidence based practices for improvement of living skills, goal setting, and addressing appropriate needs for those served.
  • Develop Individualized Treatment Plan with those served with goals and objectives appropriate to the therapeutic treatment team plan and the aspirations of those served every 90 days for minors or 180 days for adults (or more often depending on need).
  • Ensure compliance of treatment documentation, scheduling ,and treatment tracking for services provided compliant with COMAR, local, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Rehabilitation Specialist, to keep others informed of therapeutic or environmental changes of those served. In appropriate cases, collaboration with client’s family may be within the purview of the PRP workers tasks. Minor children should always have collaborative relationships with legal guardians or parents and treatment team to ensure appropriate service delivery, consents, and to be informed of treatment status and direction.
  • Document progress toward PRP goals and objectives, observed negative and positive behaviors, environmental changes and stressors, self harm or harm to others assessment, and protective factors and strengths of those served.
  • Update schedule in company software as needed or on a daily basis to assure proper logs are maintained.
  • Maintain all safety protocols outlined by TIS and regulatory bodies to assure safety of those served, their family, and the PRP worker at all times. Training in these areas must be completed before meeting with clients or their families, per company policy.
  • PRP worker is required to train for Columbia Suicide Assessment Certification and Daily Living Assessment Certification and pass appropriate examinations for certification.
  • Participate in scheduled supervision (bi-weekly minimum) meetings at Tidemark’s Baltimore office.
  • Provide all assessments, proper consents, and documentation to appropriate staff in a timely manner for pre-certifications and concurrent insurance authorizations.
  • All contact with those served and their families must be documented in appropriate software. The appropriate content should be noted and documentation should be completed no later than 48 hours after the service.
  • Maintain and limit standards of self disclosure as agreed upon with direct supervisor and within company regulations. Dual relationships with those served and their families is prohibited.
  • Maintain EHR calendar to outline scheduled services and adjust based on actual service completed no later than the end of each shift.
  • Maintain 25-30 services weekly.
  • Carry out any other work related functions requested by the PRP Director.


- PRP Worker Qualifications -

  • Bachelor Degree in related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with youth is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license in the appropriate state must be maintained and all relevant driving events must be reported immediately to PRP workers’ supervisor. If the transportation of those served is provided in a personal vehicle, then the vehicle must be maintained in good working order, and be properly insured and licensed in the appropriate state for usage. Having a legal, working vehicle available for use during working hours is required.
  • Customer Service, Office Skills, & Professionalism
  • Computer Skills; ability to operate electronic medical record system (EMR)
  • Experience in Google applications including: Drive, Docs, and Sheets preferred
  • Medical terminology knowledge and previous work with children preferred
  • Knowledge of PRP Services, experience in PRP Direct Care and documentation preferred
