Board certified behavioral analyst (BCBA)
Position Title: Board certified behavioral analyst (BCBA) – Outpatient Children Services (EIDBI)
The position will require you to provide professional services to children affected by ASD. The BCBA works in combination with other mental health practitioners in order to provide the best assistance possible to children with ASD. The BCBA will work with the rest of the team to help design, deliver and evaluate the individual care plans of each child.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive behavior plans that will make sure each child has the opportunity to excel and meet their predetermined goals
- Consult with Clinical Supervisors to maintain quality of cases through ABA data analysis.
- Conduct assessments and train support staff
- Document all services provided in the person’s case notes and/or health care plan as specified in EIDBI
- Participate in developing and modifying the child's Individual Treatment Plan (ITP)
- Participate in monitoring the child's progress on targeted goals and objectives and treatment outcomes
- Provide family/caregiver training and counseling, as determined by the qualify service provider guideline and identified in the person’s ITP
Qualifications & Requirements:
Candidates for this position will be required to meet the following requirement
- Have a doctoral or master’s degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral health, child development or related fields
- Have at least 2,000 hours of clinical experience and/or training in the examination and/or treatment of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D) or a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc. (BACB).
Or
- Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral health, child development or a related field (e.g. mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, etc.) and advanced certification in the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) modality of treatment.
Be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) from the BACB and have 4,000 hours of supervised clinical experience that meets all registration, supervision and continuing education requirements of the certification.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour
