Lake Mead Christian Ministries (LMCM) Minister - LM Care/Camp Coordinator
Job Type: Part Time
Department: Academy (South Campus)
Reports to: Senior Director of Education and South Campus Principal
Compensation: $20 hourly (approximately 20-40 hours per week)
Job Summary: The LM Care/Camp Coordinator works to provide good quality play, educational, and biblical supervision for all children in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade at Lake Mead Christian Academy. The team will uphold LMCM’s Mission Statement, support team members (both professionally and personally), and work constructively as part of a team. The Lead will help train the team on the responsibilities and tasks that are given. A high standard of professional conduct is always expected, and leaders must demonstrate judgment and integrity in confidential situations with students, parents, and staff. LM Care Lead/Team Members work the same contracted hours throughout the week, unless there is a special event where different hours may need to be accommodated, such as half days, etc. Lead/Team Members should also demonstrate a constructive and flexible approach to all aspects of their duties.
Active Supervision Hours
Ministry Scholarship for LMCA and Lil’ Eagles tuition; Reductions - Minimum of 20 hours of employment weekly, 20% scholarship, additional years 5% until max of 30%

Active Supervision Hours
- Morning: (Monday - Friday) 6:35 AM - 8:00 AM
- Afternoon: (Monday - Friday) 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM
- Occasional ½ Days: 11:00 - 5:30 PM
- LM Camp Supervision: (Monday-Friday) 6:35 AM - 5:30 PM
- Program Planning & Implementation:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and programs throughout the school year and during breaks: This may include, but is not limited to, planning the camp schedule, special events, field trips, and ensuring a fun and engaging environment for campers
- Coordinate with staff to develop curriculum and activities: Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure the curriculum aligns with educational standards and meets the needs and interests of the children
- Ensure quality and safety of all program areas: This involves creating and enforcing safety protocols, ensuring equipment is in good condition, and following established emergency procedures
- Staff Management and Supervision:
- Hire, train, and supervise staff
- Provide guidance and support to staff
- Handle staff disciplinary issues with the Senior Director of Education
- Operational and Administrative Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of LM Care and LM Camp
- Manage the camp budget and finances:
- Maintain accurate records
- Communication and Engagement:
- Communicate effectively with parents, especially when addressing concerns, and build strong relationships
- Health and Safety
