This position is primarily remote, with regular travel throughout your service region, with Quincy Illinois as the hub.
We are seeking a Coordinator who is passionate about health education and social services, with knowledge of epilepsy and its impacts. You will organize, coordinate, and provide direct services and epilepsy education to people with epilepsy, their families, and the community at large.
Duties:
- To assess, coordinate, provide, and market epilepsy services as directed.
- To provide epilepsy education presentations to individuals with epilepsy, members of their families, and community service providers- including but not limited to school personnel, the medical community, residential facility staff, and community groups.
- To provide client support and referral to other community supports as needed.
- To network and interact with the professional community to secure referrals, provide epilepsy education, and improve community service delivery
- To advocate for clients and families.
- To coordinate and facilitate epilepsy support groups
- To assist in other agency projects as directed, including events and camps
- To keep accurate client service statistics and records for all agency contacts and services
- To assist EAN with funding in your area of service, including organizing fundraisers and searching for grant opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelors level degree OR combination of experience and education.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must be flexible, highly organized, and detail oriented.
- Must be a self-starting individual who is able to work without significant supervision.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and relate well to individuals of all socioeconomic groups and abilities.
- Must have an understanding of epilepsy and its impact on individuals and families
- Must have reliable transportation with proof of current insurance.
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screening.

Pay: $41,000.00 per year
