Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role involves developing and implementing effective treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing support to clients and their families. The BCBA will ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining accurate medical records and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of clients with developmental disabilities and autism.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals.
  • Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and monitor client progress.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
  • Train and supervise staff in the implementation of behavior intervention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide support and guidance to families, helping them understand behavioral strategies.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health.

Qualifications

  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles.
  • Familiarity with medical records management and documentation practices.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team environment.
  • Compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $83,000.00 - $94,000.00 per year
