Position: House Manager
Hours: Part-time - Monday, Thursday, Friday 4-10pm and Saturday 7:30-4pm
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
Reports To: Program Manager

Love Never Fails (LNF) seeks a House Manager to join our team. LNF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission of being dedicated to the restoration, education and protection of those involved or at risk of becoming involved in domestic human trafficking. We are devoted to expressing to each person that they are valued, precious and loved by their community. Our approach is to combat human trafficking through safe housing, workforce development and prevention education.
Position Objective
The I AM House of Restoration provides long-term safe housing and restorative services for women survivors of human trafficking and their minor children. The House Manager will provide trauma informed supportive services to I AM House program members and their children. The House Manager will also help provide programmatic continuity between house staff, program members, service providers and volunteers who are working together to restore, educate and protect survivors of human trafficking.
Required Competencies
● Clinical - Experience working with survivors of trauma, drug and alcohol addiction, domestic violence or human trafficking is preferred.
● Communication - Professional, timely, and proactive communication with LNF program members, leadership, service providers, volunteers, and partnering agencies.
● Organizational - Ability to help clients follow program plans and policies.
● Relationship Building- Ability to connect with clients to help them feel safe and supported.
● Problem Solving - Ability to use problem solving techniques to resolve issues with limited support.
● Technology - Proficient use of computers, internet, and communication devices.
● Integrity - Strict adherence to LNF confidentiality and safety guidelines. Must have good boundaries and sound judgment.
● Flexible - Must be willing to be available nights, weekends and holidays.
● Transportation - Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel throughout the Bay Area on occasion.
Core Responsibilities
● Monitor program members while in the house to ensure safety and program compliance.
● Oversee morning and evening routines such as chores, hygiene, personal reflection time, etc.
● Facilitate trauma informed classes
● Encourage participation in program activities.
● Transport program members to appointments.
● Chaperone off-site program member programming activities.
● Respond to crisis and emergency situations.
● Report program members behavioral issues to Case Manager and Program Manager.
● Help build and maintain relationships with program donors, partners, and volunteers.
● Conduct electronic screening and drug/alcohol testing.
● Arm/Disarm security system.
Confidentiality and Security Protocols
● The House Manager must adhere to strict LNF confidentiality and safety guidelines.
● The location of the house will remain confidential at all times and visitors will not be allowed on premise.
Required Education and Experience
- Minimum Associate’s Degree in Behavioral Health, Sociology or related field
- Minimum 1 year experience working with survivors of trauma, domestic violence, human trafficking and/or drug & alcohol addiction.
- 40 hours of human trafficking training required (must be able to verify), willing to train the right candidate.
