About Job

Butterfly Effects' Mission is to make a socially meaningful change in the lives of children and families by hiring passionate, caring people to serve children and families affected by autism.

We are looking for passionate Registered Behavior Technicians accruing hours toward their BCBA certification. Candidates will be compensated for their restricted hours and a portion of their unrestricted hours!

Have you been struggling obtaining quality unrestricted hours? Well, we have developed a specialized program for our Student Analysts that teaches the skills needed to be a BCBA!

  • Competitive Compensation: Earn $27.00 - $30.00 hourly for restricted hours, based on your experience, education, and certifications. Earn a training rate for eligible unrestricted hours.
  • Scheduled Unrestricted Hours: Candidates will have up to 20 hours/week available to complete unrestricted hours.

What would you be doing?

As a Student Analyst, you will work directly with clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), implementing behavior intervention plans and collecting data to assess progress. This role includes valuable hands-on experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), providing students with opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings. Candidates will receive opportunities to conduct assessments, program modification, report writing, training staff, overseeing the implementation of behavior analytic services, data graphing and analysis, time management, and researching behavior analytic literature.

Why Join Butterfly Effects?

  • Impactful Work: Contribute to lifelong changes in a child's life.
  • Career Growth: Monthly Professional Development speakers such as Dr. Greg Hanley, Dr. Patrick Friman, etc. Additionally, Butterfly Effects provides employees with a stipend to support studying for the BCBA exam.
  • Tuition Support: Butterfly Effects partners with Endicott College providing students with tuition discounts. Tuition reimbursement is also available for approved graduate programs.
  • Supportive Environment: Join a team focused on bringing calm, protection, and joy to families affected by autism.

Qualifications

  • Education: Actively enrolled in a graduate program focusing on Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Fieldwork Hours: Candidates must have completed at least 680 unrestricted hours and 280 restricted hours.
  • Passion for Children: A genuine love of working with children.
  • Continuous Learning: Interest in ongoing development.
  • Driver's License: Possession of a valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
  • Positive Attitude: Strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families.
  • Experience: Prior experience with children is advantageous.

Physical Requirements

This role involves working in natural environments, occasionally requiring lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures for extended periods.
