The Colour Experience Group at the University of Lausanne is inviting applications for a PhD position in Cognitive Psychology, focusing on the study of the relationship between colour and emotion. Under the supervision of Dr. Domicele Jonauskaite and Professor Christine Mohr, the successful candidate will join a vibrant research team engaged in international, interdisciplinary projects involving various populations and research methodologies.

Requirements

– Master’s degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a related discipline

– Experience in designing and analyzing empirical studies

– Strong interest in research on colour and affect

– Proficiency in R Studio (additional programming skills are advantageous)

– Excellent communication skills in both English and French (spoken and written)

Position Details

– 5-year PhD program commencing August 2025

– Balanced appointment: 50% doctoral thesis research, 50% teaching and supervision
