Position: Clinical Neuropsychologist
Location: Michigan
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday (No Holidays or Weekends)
Setting: 90% Outpatient / 10% Inpatient
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist to join a collaborative team of four providers. This role involves performing comprehensive neuro-cognitive testing and assessments to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients. You will work closely with psychometrists and dedicated business staff to streamline patient care and optimize outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform 8 neuro-cognitive assessments per week.
- Conduct adult and geriatric cognitive and psychological evaluations.
- Specialized assessments for:
- Memory disturbances
- Dementia
- Traumatic brain injury
- Sports-related concussion
- Cognitive impairments related to epilepsy, MS, Parkinson’s, and other neurological conditions
- Complete pre-surgical assessments (DBS, bariatric, epilepsy).
- Evaluate decision-making capacity.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, evidence-based care.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program – Required
- Completion of an APA-endorsed internship – Required
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting supervised by a licensed psychologist, with 1 year post-doctorate – Required
- MI license (or willing to obtain) – Required
- Clean malpractice history – Preferred
- Leadership experience or training for leadership roles – Highly Preferred
- Must not be a new graduate; experience required
- Must be currently board certified; candidates needing re-certification will not be considered
- Open to H1B visa candidates (not accepting J1 or Locums)
