Our BCBA-D Clinical Director has extensive experience working with children and adolescents with severe challenging behavior across school, home, community, and hospital settings. At our clinic, we not only work to reduce challenging behavior and improve adaptive functioning but also specialize in addressing the barriers impeding our clients’ success.
Position Summary:
Our BCBAs will work closely with the Clinical Director (BCBA-D) to provide services to our clients. They will learn to work with some of the most challenging cases using innovative thinking while maintaining client dignity. Team members in this role will apply behavior analytic principles and strategies to address a wide range of concerns and challenges impacting the lives of our clients and their families.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of a client’s treatment implementation including:
Developing individualized Functional Behavior Assessments (including functional analyses as needed).
Conducting standardized assessments and writing comprehensive assessment reports.
Writing treatment plans and protocols based on assessment outcomes.
Monitoring data collection and graphing.
Interpreting graphical depictions of data.
Training caregivers and staff on treatment protocols.
Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual summaries/reports/updates within the requirements of funding source (e.g. insurance requirements).
Review and edit session notes written by RBTs documenting client appointments and supervision.
Provide supervision for at least 10% of direct therapy implemented by the RBT weekly.
Participate in coordination of care meetings (e.g., IEP meetings).
Participate in weekly case review meetings with clinical director and other BCBAs.
Remaining up to date with insurance requirements.
Maintain certification by obtaining necessary continuing education credits (CEUs). as specified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BCBA).
Requirements:
Must have an active BCBA certification.
