About us Healthy Learning Academy is a public charter school serving kindergarten through fifth grade students in Jonesville Florida. Healthy Learning Academy was founded with the goal of helping students find their true potential and grow into well rounded individuals as personified in our core mission; Healthy Mind, Healthy Body, Healthy Planet. Along with the state and county mandated curriculum, it offers our students additional time for outdoor activity, daily yoga and physical education classes, as well as on-site student garden and enrichment activities.

Our School Counselor will work with students to help them understand how to develop their interests and pursue their goals. A School Counselor will also help students cope with the many challenges and changes they face as they grow up and overcome any difficulties or setbacks they experience at school. Our school counseling program is specifically designed to help students develop a better understanding of the challenges they face and equip them with the skills necessary to overcome obstacles.

Responsibilities:

  • Counsel students who face academic or emotional challenges
  • Counsel students on disciplinary issues.
  • Provide advice and guidance to students' families.
  • Advise faculty and administrators regarding student matters.
  • Formulate alternative programs for students with special needs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $3,750.00 per month

Expected hours: 30 per week
