Title: Intake Coordinator
Reports to: Executive Director
Purpose: To ensure Women’s Resource Center’s clients are greeted and ensure the client’s needs are met via a referral to outside resources, referral to in-house staff, or by assisting with technology to further their goals to succeed, working together with the Programs Department and additional staff to achieve this goal.
Qualifications:
· Thorough understanding of and strong commitment to the Women’s Resource Center’s goals and mission.
· Must have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability and willingness to work closely with other colleagues as a team; experience and comfort in working with diverse backgrounds, and experience and comfort in working with individuals of all stations.
· High personal integrity and the ability to maintain privacy, and confidentiality.
· Demonstrate commitment to community service.
· Must have at least 1+ years of experience with 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations.
· Must possess strong customer service and organizational skills.
· Must be able to obtain and/or be willing to obtain certifications or additional training as needed to perform daily job duties.
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to navigate software programs and technologies as needed to assist clients on the computer.
Responsibilities:
General: The Intake Coordinator works effectively in partnership with the Women’s Resource Center’s Staff and the community at large to assist clients with their needs as to meet the goals and objectives of the Women’s Resource Center.
Specific:
A. Outline of Job Duties
· Greeting Customers and assisting with intake forms, and documentation if necessary.
· Working directly with clients on the computer.
· Receives/Sends daily mail.
· Assisting Clients with faxing/copying as needed.
· Answering incoming calls, responds to program questions and routes calls as appropriate.
· Provide additional clerical assistance as needed.
· Assist clients with SNAP Benefit Applications.
· Assist with Social Security Benefits applications/Printing award letters/ apply for duplicate SSN card(s).
· Assist client with obtaining ID.
· Setting up clients with basic skills courses (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Keyboarding).
· Assist clients with online job searching.
· Refer clients to HCPC for housing referral.
· Refer clients to Programs Director for employment coaching.
· Make clients aware of classes and programs available to them.
· Set up clients with training software to learn new skills.
· Research and outreach to other organizations to keep Women’s Resource Center’s referral resources up to date.
· Assist with voucher fulfillment as needed.
· Assist with Tax Program as a "Greeter" as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
