Required Licensure:
Current MN Teaching License: School Social Worker with Masters Degree
Current Social Work License: LGSW, LISW or LICSW
Responsibilities:

• Experience with at-risk school-age youth
• Ability to work successfully with students and adults of various economic, racial, and cultural backgrounds
• Knowledge of special education procedures
• Work with students individually and in groups
• Work with students in special education and general education
• Assist with collaboration among teachers, students, families, and community to meet educational needs
• Provide case management services
• Conduct assessments
• Lead groups on a variety of topics
• Provide Crisis intervention assessment and service, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address student needs
• Facilitate/co-facilitate restorative circles/mediation
• Facilitate/co-facilitate restorative circles/mediation
• Liaison to community building resources: Washburn Therapist, Phase Zero, Cornerstone
• HHM building lead
• Consultation with teachers, teams re: student emotional well-being and academic progress
