Behavioral Health Clinician - Homeless Support Program

Location: San Francisco, CA

Compensation: $86,000-88,000 per year

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Maintain a regular caseload and deliver professional, culturally relevant support, advocacy, information, and referrals to program participants.
  • Complete initial and ongoing assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning in collaboration with your assigned caseload.
  • Regularly meet with each client and provide Medi-Cal billable mental health services, including assessment, rehabilitation skills building, diagnosis, referral, consultation, brokerage, counseling, and crisis management.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of care plans, client interactions, progress toward goals, and exit plans using the Avatar electronic charting and billing system.

Requirements:

  • A master's degree in social work or a related field is required, along with Board of Behavioral Sciences registration/licensure (AMFT, APCC, ACSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW).
  • 1 + years of experience providing therapy
  • A strong commitment to and knowledge of harm reduction practices.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $86,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
