YAI's Center for Specialty Therapy is an outpatient mental health clinic in downtown Brooklyn. We serve individuals and families with Developmental Disabilities. We are looking for a second year MSW Student to work with our psychotherapists and observe and provide supervised psychotherapy. This is a unique opportunity to begin to learn therapy or counseling skills. Duties: Providing psychotherapy, writing psychosocials, participating in team meetings and supervisions and clinical trainings. Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Bilingual candidates are strongly preferred as we serve a diverse population. Applicants eager to develop their clinical skills as therapists are strongly encouraged to apply. This is an unpaid internship opportunity that is only open to current students. The internship may be able to satisfy course credit if approved by the student's institution of learning.
