RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in a variety of treatment modalities including but not limited to biofeedback, stress management, and group therapy
- Provide care for patients utilizing proper infection control and safety techniques as planned and/or ordered. Document per policy and notify the mental health provider or nurse in charge of any abnormal or unusual findings in a timely manner
- Present or facilitate a variety of health and wellness programs, including stress management, suicide intervention, and smoking cessation. Conduct various programs in support of the clinic
- Provide care to mentally ill or emotionally disturbed patients and participate in rehabilitation and treatment programs
- Perform a range of diagnostic support duties which include but is not limited to drawing blood for lab studies;collect and label specimens;take vital signs;and assist the doctor in a variety of diagnostic examinations
- Psychiatric Technician/ Mental Health Tech Certification
- 1 year of relevant experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- US Citizen
- NACI background check
