LTE positions in the Juvenile Court Program are a part of a pool of staff who are used to fill in for permanent staff who are on vacation/leave or for extra staffing needs. The department maintains an ongoing recruitment for LTE's in order to hire periodically as additional staff are needed for the pool. Supervisors review applications and contact applicants for interviews when there is a need to add LTE staff. There is no guarantee of hours for LTE positions.
