Job Summary
Seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) to join the practice. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, & families that focuses on enhancing mental health and emotional well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care, as well as a desire to uphold the ethical & legal standards expected in the field of psychotherapy. The AMFT will work with diverse populations, including children, families, couples, and possibly groups.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive intakes to assess patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions focused on improving mental health outcomes.
- Utilize HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and protect patient information.
- Perform thorough patient assessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate & consult to coordinate care for patients with complex needs.
- Engage with children and adolescents in therapeutic settings, employing techniques suitable for their developmental stages.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with coding standards (ICD-10).
Experience
- A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
- Experience is desirable but not necessary.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and coding practices (ICD-10) is preferred.
You will be responsible for managing your own schedule, as well maintaining accurate & thorough records. Supervision provided.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
