Full-Time | Travel Required | Salary Commensurate with Experience

High Focus Centers, a leading provider of outpatient behavioral healthcare, is seeking a Dance/Music Therapist to join our dynamic team in the Greater Philadelphia area. This full-time role will support programming across multiple sites and requires travel between locations.

We’re looking for a passionate professional who can use creative modalities—particularly dance/movement and music therapy—to foster emotional, cognitive, and social growth in adolescents and adults within structured therapeutic settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using dance/movement and music therapy techniques
• Prepare and manage materials necessary for conducting therapeutic sessions
• Collaborate closely with clinical teams using a multi-disciplinary, team-based approach
• Assess clients' behavioral and emotional needs and help develop treatment plans
• Maintain clinical documentation in collaboration with primary therapists, ensuring timely and accurate records
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and clinical supervision in accordance with program standards
• Support a therapeutic, safe, and orderly environment—including providing crisis intervention when necessary
• Maintain professional and ethical boundaries with clients
• Travel between High Focus Centers locations in the Greater Philadelphia region as needed
• Assist in meeting quality assurance goals and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
• Additional duties as assigned to support client care and clinical excellence
  
  

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Dance/Movement Therapy, Music Therapy, or related field required
• BC-DMT or MT-BC certification preferred; candidates actively pursuing board-certification will be considered
• LPC or LCSW preferred, but not required
• Experience with a variety of creative arts modalities (e.g., visual arts, music, drama, movement, symbolism) is a plus
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
• Must be comfortable traveling between program sites in the Philadelphia area
