  • Oversee and continuously refine CIP’s comprehensive training program, including scheduling, curriculum development, and ongoing trainee support
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on program administration, accreditation standards, and clinical oversight
  • Lead and/or participate in didactic training seminars, case conferences, and community-building events
  • Serve as a clinical and professional mentor, modeling reflective practice, clinical depth, and ethical care
  • Ensure alignment of training goals with CIP’s mission to provide equitable and affordable services to underserved populations

What You Bring to the Table

  • Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) in the state of California
  • Solid foundation in psychodynamic theory and practice, with a commitment to depth-oriented psychotherapy
  • Supervision experience with early-career clinicians across various levels (practicum, postdoc, associate)
  • Comfort and competence in curriculum development, training design, and group facilitation
  • Ability to balance clinical leadership with administrative responsibilities, and navigate program logistics with clarity and care
  • A collaborative spirit, appreciation for nuance, and a deep respect for the transformational process of clinical training

Details

  • ~25 hours/week (includes ~16 onsite hours in San Rafael, remaining remote)
  • Flexible start date — open until filled
  • Part-time salaried role with flexible benefits and optional 401K
  • Ongoing professional development and team support included
  • Ideal candidates will have a psychodynamic orientation and experience supervising early-career clinicians
