About Job

Spectrum Therapy Center is hiring ABA technicians for all shifts (8:00-12:30, 8:00-4:30, 11:00-7:15 & 4:15-7:15). ABA technicians implement behavioral therapy programs created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are a center-based provider where the clients come to our center for their therapies. The technician works one-on-one with children in both social and individual settings. The ABA technician will be required to gather data to measure progress toward goals, and write up daily session notes pertaining to that days sessions. The job requires, among other things, patience, the ability to lift weight as heavy as 50 lbs, and a willingness to be physically active, including getting on the floor, lifting children and play implements, and physically prompting and playing with children.

You will collaborate with the BCBA as well as Speech and Occupational therapists in the implementation and execution of the treatment plan.

Spectrum Therapy Center provides paid training for this position. We also guarantee your work schedule - you are paid for your hours even if your child is absent on a given day. If you are pursuing a BCBA certification, we offer free supervision hours toward your total number of hours. We also offer health insurance and a employer-matching retirement savings plan to full-time employees.

Associates level college coursework or higher required. Those studying psychology, special education, speech-language pathology, or occupational therapy will find the experience working with us very valuable and rewarding.

Background check and reference check will be completed before employment.

Pay begins at $18/hour and can go higher based on prior experience.

Available shifts include: 8:00-12:00, 8:00-4:30, 11:00-7:15 and 4:15-7:15. Availability Monday through Friday for assigned shift is necessary.

Prior experience working with children aged 1-10 is required.
