This is a 32-hour LICSW social work position providing crisis intervention for patients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems within the Outpatient Psychiatry Department at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center.
Responsibilities include:
- Psychosocial screening and assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and facilitation of hospital and community services.
- Acting as a resource for information and referral, program development, and psychosocial consultation to multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work. LICSW licensure in MA is required.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Previous experience providing therapy and crisis intervention is preferred.
