Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Reports To: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and (BCaBA)

Job Summary:

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide 1:1 behavioral intervention services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disorders. The RBT is responsible for implementing behavior intervention plans, collecting data, and supporting clients in achieving their treatment goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct behavioral interventions to clients in home, school, clinic, and community settings.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Collect and record data accurately and consistently during each session.
  • Follow behavior support plans and implement positive behavior strategies.
  • Assist with skill acquisition programs including communication, social, self-help, and academic skills.
  • Participate in training, team meetings, and professional development activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors, caregivers, and team members.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Must have or be eligible for RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Medicaid Provider
  • Experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred).
  • Ability to pass background checks and obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations if needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent movement and engagement with children in active play.

Work Environment:

  • May involve working in homes, schools, clinics, or community settings.
  • Requires flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends if needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to Commute:

  • West Palm Beach, FL 33406 (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
