ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW

SUMMARY OF POSITION
Destination Cleveland leads a local collaborative of fourteen regional non-profits focused on growing the population, known as the Cleveland Talent Alliance (CTA). The CTA intern, employed by Destination Cleveland, will assist the CTA director with ongoing efforts, including the Resident Ambassador program that connects potential relocators with locals, college student retention programs that aim to keep students here post-graduation, and CTA-stakeholder communication strategies to ensure the collaboration moves forward with open dialogue.
COMPENSATION & EXPECTATIONS
- Mandatory Start Date & Orientation: September 16, 2025
- $1000 Monthly Stipend (paid twice monthly over the course of the 16 week internship)
- 200-275 hours of the course of the semester (15-20 hours per week)

- $50/Month Stipend
- Internship Duration: FALL 2025 (Sept. 16 -Dec 17)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with regular communication to and event planning for new and existing Resident Ambassadors
- Connect Resident Ambassadors to potential newcomers, adhering to an established standard operating procedure
- Help with the maintenance and evolution of a communications plan that goes out to CTA partners
- Collaborate with CTA partner orgs to plan college student retention programming and activities
- Attend regularly scheduled CTA meetings
- Additional duties as assigned related to CTA efforts that improve perceptions of Cleveland as a place to live and work

REQUIREMENTS

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred, familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or content creation platforms like Canva is helpful but not necessary.
