We are currently recruiting for a part-time Child Psychiatrist to work in our Bridgeport clinic one or two days per week. to work within a multidisciplinary team to provide Psychiatric care including evaluations and medication management for a diverse patient base. The ideal candidate has experience or the desire to work with the medically underserved population.

Responsibilities

• Interview, assess, diagnose, and treat patients appropriately within the standard of care.
• Prescribe psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders
• Collaborate with other Behavioral Health Professionals to discuss treatment plans and patient progress
• Provide individual professional consultation amongst Professional Staff for the purposes of servicing/education as necessary to provide increased level of service to patients.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited Medical School
• Completion of Residency Program specializing in Psychiatry and completion of Fellowship Program specializing in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Board Certified in Child & Adult Psychiatry
• CT Licensure
