JOB TITLE: TRUST ASSOCIATE

DEPARTMENT: TRUST & WEALTH MANAGEMENT ARIZONA

REPORTS TO: SENIOR TRUST ASSOCIATE/ASSISTANT TRUST OFFICER

FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT

TYPE OF POSITION: FULL-TIME


JOB SUMMARY

The Trust Associate assists the Trust Officers with administration of accounts.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Serves as an associate to the relationship manager in managing the assigned TrustBank clients

* Assist in the administration of Estates, Trusts, and Agency accounts. Open, prepare, monitor, and update accounts on the Trust account system

* Locates and places funds, securities, and other assets in trust accounts

* Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports, committee reviews, and assembling meeting packets

* Provides exceptional level of personal service to clients

* Assists in the administration of accounts with provisions of governing documents, legal requirements and established policy and procedures of the department

* Assists with Estate accounts to change billing, collect assets and home appraisals

* Occasionally act as a back up to the Trust Operations Group

* Other duties as assigned


WORKING CONDITIONS and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The position is Monday through Friday, typically from 8AM – 5PM and is forty hours a week. Additional hours may be required as needed. The position will primarily be located 2735 E. Camelback Rd, #155 Phoenix, AZ 85016. The position requires long periods of sitting in front of a computer. Noise level is moderate, and the office is well lit. The duties of the job may require the employee to stand, walk, use hands, and feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands, arms, and talk, or hear. Ability to lift 25-pounds. Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus. Some work may be repetitive at the computer and the position requires direct work with the public.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $21.00 - $33.00/per hour, along with the eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus. Pay rate may vary based on the candidate's qualifications skills, and experience. Requirements:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum: high school diploma or GED

Preferred: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience One to three years' experience in Trust


QUALIFICATIONS and KEY ATTRIBUTES

You must have exceptional communication skills and a strong attention to detail. The position requires one to be proactive, analytical, establish priorities, and set deadlines for critical responsibilities, and require minimal supervision. Recognizes the importance of customer service and has the ability to work with internal and external customers to deliver exceptional services. May require travel across regional locations.


REQUIRED SKILLS and ABILITIES

Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills are required to identify, research and/or resolve requests. Knowledgeable in areas of Trust and Trust systems. Stay up to date with systems and applications and fully understand how the technology supports the role and TrustBank's high standards of service.


TECHNICAL SKILLS

Ability to utilize Microsoft365 and Office applications with emphasis in Excel skills for data analysis and report preparation.
