Soar Autism Center is building a network of interdisciplinary clinics where children with autism and their families receive life-shaping services that support them to thrive. We prioritize early intervention, comprehensive supportive services, and positive, developmentally-appropriate learning that meets the needs of each unique child and family. Specifically, we focus on integrated autism care and a play-based model of ABA therapy based on the principles of the Early Start Denver Model. What You Will Be Doing

  • The Clinical RBT Trainer is responsible for new trainee growth and development at one to two local centers (arriving to their local center after 2 weeks of Centralized Training)
  • Support initial and ongoing RBT competency evaluations for new and existing RBTs
  • Support 3-4 case supervisors as they grow their clinical and decision making skills
  • Provide 20 weekly hours of billable supervision, focused on providing supervision to trainees during their first 4 weeks at Soar, and case supervisors preparing for the BCBA exam
  • Host bi-weekly group training and discussion sessions for new trainees at their home center
  • Build trainees skill sets in ESDM practices and ABA strategies, including joint activity routines, responding to challenging behavior, data collection/documentation, and evidence based teaching strategies
  • Organize and host quarterly, center level continuing education events for BCBAs and RBTs (attendance optional)
  • Collaborate with the Partner Clinician and Center Operations Director regarding RBT performance and needed performance improvement initiatives
  • Act as a clinical leader in the center on days when the Partner Clinician is not present
  • Achieve ESDM certification within 2 years of starting your role as a Clinical RBT Trainer

What You Have

  • Minimum of a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field
  • Preferred candidates have a background in child development, early childhood education, or a related field
  • 3 or more years of experience as Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • ABA early intervention experience
  • A mission driven nature that is deeply focused on care quality for kids
  • Strong desire to work with clients ages 2- 6
  • Clear professional communication, both verbally and in writing
  • Fluency in navigating devices such as computers and tablets
