Posting TextPosition Summary:South Dakota Mines has an opening for the position of Counselor with the Counseling department. The Counselor position will be part of the Counseling and the Student Development Team and will be full-time for ten months (July 22-May 21) and part-time (50% effort), for two months (May 22-July 21). The position provides services in mental health for Mines students, as well as well as wellness and alcohol and other drug education. SD Mines counseling office is a highly active and dynamic environment. We work to meet the behavioral health needs of all SD Mines Students. Successful candidates will be part of a multidisciplinary team that focuses on the well-being of the students of Mines.Qualifications:
- A master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or a related field is required.
- 1 - 3 years minimum experience with a variety of client issues is required.
- A clinical license is required; advanced clinical license is preferred.
