Group Therapist

The group therapy therapist position primarily provides group therapy services to adult clients in the Outpatient Behavioral Health Group Therapy Program. The therapist is responsible for generating a group therapy schedule based on client needs/interests, facilitating these groups, and coordinating individualized treatment plans. This therapist will also have a smaller individual therapy caseload. The therapist reports to the AVP Behavioral Health. The therapist works closely and in collaboration with other group therapy program staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s Social Work degree from accredited educational institution
• Current LMSW, LISW, LMHC, or LMFT license with State of Iowa
• Knowledge in crisis intervention techniques and brief therapy
• Ability to work cooperatively with a multi-disciplinary team
• Ability to complete electronic charting and documentation
• Strongly prefer candidates who are FULLY/INDEPENDENTLY LICENSED.
