If you have experience as a Behavior Technician, your skills are highly transferable to this school-based role. You’ll work closely with students who need behavioral and academic support in a structured classroom setting, helping to implement individualized plans that promote student growth and success.

Responsibilities
- Assisting the classroom teacher
- Work with Special Education individuals and (or) small groups of students to reinforce instructed material
- Assist in compiling classroom communications
- Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and a safe learning environment
- Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the student learning experiences and support them as needed
- Support with personal care or hygiene, including toileting as needed

Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent

Preferred Qualifications
- ParaPro Certification or similar
