Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Location: Coalinga, CA

Setting: Correctional Healthcare

Term: 6 months with option to extend

Compensation: $90-95/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring Licensed Clinical Social Workers for a California state correctional facility in Coalinga, CA These positions are 6-month contracts with the ability to extend.

Qualifications of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker:

• Current California LCSW License
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association

Duties/Responsibilities of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker:

• Assess the social, emotional, and economic needs of inmates, including substance abuse, mental health, housing, and employment
• Assist inmates with re-entry planning, including securing housing, employment, and community resources
• Respond to and intervene in crisis situations, such as inmate disturbances, self-harm, and suicide attempts
• Collaborate with other members of the treatment team, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and case managers
• Work to ensure that inmates have access to appropriate services and support
