Onward Search Education is partnering with a school district in Chicago Heights, IL to hire a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2025–2026 school year.

Location: Chicago Heights, IL
Start Date: August 11, 2025
End Date: June 1, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Grade Level: K–8
Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (35 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Serve two school sites, supporting staff in meeting the behavioral needs of students.

• Develop and oversee Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

• Monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure the effectiveness of behavioral interventions.

• Collaborate with school staff, including teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and related service providers, to implement evidence-based practices.

• Support classroom teams in behavior management strategies and interventions—this role does not provide 1:1 ABA therapy.

• Conduct observations and provide training and coaching for classroom staff to support student success.

• Maintain documentation and compliance according to school and district policies.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.

• Experience working in school settings or with children/adolescents preferred.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage a fluctuating caseload (typically around 15 students).
