Elysian Therapeutics, LLC, a new private practice, is now hiring for the position of mental health counselor, associate, based in Roxboro, North America. This position reports to the Director of Behavioral Health.

Responsibilities

• Contacts patients within 24 hours of assignment to schedule the initial appointment.
• Engages patients in follow up calls.
• Documents all clinical contacts in a timely manner using EHR.
• Seeks consultation regarding high-risk cases with the Director of Behavioral Health to ensure patient is receiving appropriate level of care.
• Meets weekly productivity requirements.
• Collaborates with patients’ multidisciplinary team to communicate clinical concerns and to ensure the highest standard of care is being provided.
• Completes initial treatment plans.
• Adequately addresses frequency of patient no-shows to encourage attendance in therapy.
• Completes annual assessments and clinical updates when appropriate.
• Completes necessary discharge documentation when appropriate.
• Attends monthly provider meetings/supervision for case consultation and administrative updates.
• Demonstrates cultural competence and understanding
• Engages in community outreach as needed

Requirments

• Licensed to practice as a mental health professional, such as LCSW-A, or related fields.
• Minimum of 1 year post graduate experience in clinical outpatient setting.
• Experience working with Medicaid populations is encouraged
• Credentialed through Medicaid

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
