Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality therapeutic services to individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. Your primary focus will be creating and prescribing program goals, running parent trainings, and training RBT’s, Behavior Therapist’s, and Behavior Analyst Trainees. You will work closely with patients to assess their needs, track progress, and adjust strategies to ensure optimal outcomes. Teamwork is required, as you will be working with Registered Behavior Therapists/ Lead Behavior Therapists/ Behavior Analyst Trainees as well as your patient's family.
Duties
- Conduct initial assessments, reassessments, Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA)/ Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) utilizing VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Vineland, and AFLS.
- Complete treatment fidelity checklists in staff direct therapeutic services for a minimum of once a month
- Complete weekly parent trainings (in-home and via telehealth video)
- Complete 20% supervision per learner on your caseload
- Develop, implement, and monitor treatment/intervention plans and strategies as needed for family
- Provide direct ongoing supervision, coaching, and support to bachelor and Master's level Behavior Therapists
- Aggregate and analyze appropriate data to make data-based decisions
- Prepare and present progress data in comprehensive progress report
- Adhere to all BACB standards
- Complete a weekly or bi-weekly meeting with Company Founders
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide training and support to caregivers, staff, and families on behavior management techniques.
- Advocate for the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities within the community.
Requirements
- Must be a kind and patient person who enjoys being with children to help them learn and grow
- Pass a criminal background check
- Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities is highly desirable
- Ability to work directly with a team, including a supervisor
- Ability to time manage
- Desire to make a change in a child and their families lives
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to wanting to grow as a behavioral therapist/technician
Qualifications and Skills
- Master's Degree
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of working as a BCBA
- Minimum of 3 year working directly with young children (ages 6-18 years) diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Background knowledge and experience in child development and developmental delays
- Excellent leadership, organizational, problem solving-skills, team work skills, and communication skills
- Passion to implement high quality, effective intervention

Who we are
Better Future Autism Therapy is committed to delivering high quality ABA services to children of all ages utilizing compassion, dedication, and child empowerment. We are a family-focused, collaborative team of professionals with an emphasis of utilizing naturalistic environment teaching. We provide ABA services to children ages 1-18 (Currently services 2-13 year old). Research shows that the best practice for ABA therapy with young children is therapy designed to be implemented in the child's natural setting and consisting of targeting developmentally-appropriate skills with a strong component of parent coaching and family involvement. At Better Future Autism Therapy all services are provided in the child's natural environment setting (home setting) and individualized to meet the specific needs of each child and family.
