Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient intake processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients and staff alike. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating patient information, managing appointments, and supporting the overall administrative functions of the office.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
  • Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the front desk operations effectively.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
  • Assist with medical billing processes, including coding and insurance claims.
  • Utilize software systems such as Epic and Eaglesoft for patient management.
  • Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date in the office records.

Experience

  • Previous experience in hospital admission and referrals perferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems, specifically Epic and Eaglesoft, is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of medical billing practices, coding, and insurance processes is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficient in office software applications with excellent organizational abilities.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and confidentiality.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour
