Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), analyze data, and develop detailed reports
• Lead the FBA and Behavior Support Plan (BSP) processes for ASD programs
• Implement and ensure fidelity of individualized BSPs
• Collaborate on curriculum and skills-based assessments (VB-MAPP, ACE, AFLS, etc.)
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings; update BSPs with teams and families
• Use program evaluation tools to support quality learning environments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary and district teams to maintain consistency across autism programs
• Co-facilitate staff training and provide coaching on behavior strategies and interventions
• Guide and model data collection, behavior reduction, and skill acquisition techniques
• Support classroom structures and communication strategies that promote inclusion and verbal behavior
• Provide in-the-moment coaching and de-escalation modeling during crisis behaviors
• Lead training initiatives for program staff, paraprofessionals, and administrators
• Engage in ongoing professional development

Requirements

• Active BCBA License in the State of Illinois
• Experience working in school-based or educational settings is a plus
