Are you a compassionate and driven Licensed Mental Health Counselor seeking a remote opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of clients across all age groups? Emotions Matter is seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) LMHC to join our growing team of dedicated mental health professionals.

About Us:

Emotions Matter is a Florida-based private practice specializing in emotional wellness, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and more. We offer flexible, fully remote services to meet clients where they are—literally and emotionally.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide telehealth therapy for individuals, couples, and groups
• Serve a diverse client population across all age groups (children, adolescents, and adults)
• Utilize evidence-based treatment approaches, preferably CBT and/or DBT
• Maintain timely and organized clinical documentation
• Participate in virtual team meetings and clinical case consultations as needed
• You must be able to work afternoons and evenings. Weekend availability is encouraged. All sessions will be facilitated virtually using HIPAA compliant zoom-link with possibility of in-person sessions.
• Develop concrete, specific individualized treatment plans with goals, objectives and discharge criteria to address client needs
• All credentialing, billing and office maintenance is managed by the practice, and you’ll have access to management systems, including a Telehealth platform, client portal, online booking, paperless intakes, and other enabling technology, allowing you to work remotely.

Qualifications:

• Active LMHC license in the state of Florida
• Bilingual – Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
• Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and groups (required)
• Comfortable working with clients of all ages
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Certification or formal training in CBT and/or DBT (preferred)
• Experience working with diverse populations is a plus
