Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate MSW, LMSW, or LPC to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality mental health services to our clients, focusing on individual and group therapy, case management, and diagnostic evaluations.. This position requires a commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments for clients to determine their mental health needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions tailored to the needs of clients, focusing on therapy techniques that promote healing and growth.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Manage cases effectively by coordinating care and resources for clients, ensuring they receive comprehensive support.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health care.
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews to discuss client progress and treatment strategies.
- Offer support for aging issues counseling, addressing the unique challenges faced by older adults.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health care.
- Experience with patient care practices, including individual group counseling and therapy techniques.
- Familiarity with case management processes and the ability to navigate medical records efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- A commitment to ethical practice and adherence to confidentiality standards.
- Experience or training in Christian counseling is preferred but not required.
