Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team of dedicated professionals. The BCBA will design, implement, and oversee behavior intervention plans for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will provide supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams, and ensure clients receive evidence-based, person-centered care to improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessments and data analysis.
- Supervise and provide guidance to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff.
- Train and educate families, caregivers, and staff on behavior management techniques.
- Ensure accurate data collection, analyze progress, and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators, to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain compliance with ethical guidelines and BACB standards.
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Current Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Must pass a 10 year background check.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and experience in behavior management.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, ethical care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supervising RBTs and supporting professional growth.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working as a BCBA, preferably with individuals with ASD or developmental disabilities.
- Current Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Experience working in a variety of settings (home, school, clinic, community).
