Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient intake processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients we will provide service to. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and familiarity with medical office operations. The Intake Coordinator will work closely with patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff to facilitate appointments and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details.
• Schedule appointments and manage the front desk operations efficiently.
• Utilize medical software systems such as WELLSKY(KINNSER) for data entry and management.
• Process medical billing and coding as necessary to ensure accurate billing practices.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely patient care and follow-up.
• Address patient inquiries and resolve any issues related to their intake process.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with front desk operations and medical receptionist duties.
• Knowledge of medical billing practices and coding is a plus.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as WELLSKY(KINNSER)
• Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
