  • Encourage skill development and promote independence throughout each therapy session
  • Implement behavior intervention plans created by a BCBA and contribute relevant observations
  • Accurately track behavior data, complete session notes, and monitor progress
  • Stay in regular contact with your BCBA supervisor and engage in training and supervision sessions
  • Ensure client confidentiality and uphold safety standards according to HIPAA regulations
  • Assist with light household tasks or transportation, when appropriate

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Experience working with children or individuals with special needs is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable personal transportation
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, remain actively engaged (standing, kneeling, sitting), and respond quickly
  • Willing to commute up to 30 minutes to client locations
  • Eager to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 90 days—training provided
  • Able to pass a background check

Benefits & Perks:

  • Competitive hourly pay
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance (available for full-time employees)
  • Flexible schedules with afternoon and evening shifts (part-time or full-time)
  • Paid time off for full-time employees
  • Bi-weekly payroll
  • Mileage reimbursement for travel exceeding local routes
  • Opportunities for growth, including BCBA supervision hours
  • A supportive work culture that values work-life balance
