True Therapy is looking for an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or *Experienced LAC/MSW/LAMFT to join the team in our tranquil Scottsdale private practice location. We are seeking someone with a passion for helping individuals who struggle with general mental health and who enjoys working with individuals, couples, families, and groups. True Therapy works with clients ages 14 and older.

The therapist will render in-office counseling 3 to 4 days per week, and the position allows for teletherapy appointments as well. The in-office days are flexible. As an Independent contractor, you’ll set and manage your own schedule. Starting pay for is $90 per 50-minute session and $140 for an 80-minute session for independently licensed clinicians, or $68 per 50-minute session and $108 for an 80-minute session for *experienced associate-level clinicians under supervision. Ideally, you’ll be holding 15-25 sessions per week.

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health – LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or *Experienced LAC/MSW/LAMFT (*Associate-level therapist must have at least 1 year of supervised clinical work post-masters)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability and desire to provide in-person sessions at least 3 days per week
• Comfortable working with electronic medical records and telemedicine
• EMDR, ERP, and Recovery training is a plus

Requirements:

• Assess clients to provide diagnoses and treatment goals
• Provide psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, couples, families, and groups
• Collaborate with referring providers as well as prescribers and family members as appropriate
• Evaluate and treat problems within the scope of practice
• Provide diagnostic and treatment plans to clients
• Facilitate effective treatment consistent with treatment goals
• Along with the client, evaluate effectiveness of ongoing treatment
• Document findings in client electronic records according to established protocol - including progress notes, treatment plans, mental status exams, and diagnosis
• Maintain case load as required and keep accurate and timely documentation
• Keep billing records consistent with electronic platform provided by True Therapy
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with administration and other therapists
• If associate-level, must maintain supervision standards per AZBBHE
