Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling, with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role involves providing comprehensive psychological services, including diagnostic evaluations, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention for patients of various age groups, particularly in pediatrics. The Psychologist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess mental health conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy.
• Deliver crisis intervention services as needed to support patients in acute distress.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns in clinical practices and therapeutic techniques.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the hospital to coordinate care for patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in psychology.

Experience

• A Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution is required.
• Previous experience working in a hospital setting is preferred, particularly with pediatric populations.
• Proficiency in cognitive behavioral therapy and other therapeutic modalities is essential.
• Experience in conducting diagnostic evaluations and providing mental health counseling is necessary.
• Strong skills in crisis intervention and the ability to manage high-stress situations effectively.
• Supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a clinical environment.
