The Institute for Family Development (IFD) is an international leader in providing services that keep children safe, strengthen families, and reduce out of home placement. We provide a range of in-home counseling services, including the HOMEBUILDERS® model of Intensive Family Preservation Services, Functional Family Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and more.

WHO WE WANT TO HIRE:
We are looking for therapists / counselors with a commitment to making a difference in the lives of children, youth and families. Our therapists:
  • Maintain small caseloads
  • Work with families in their homes and communities
  • Schedule client sessions at times that are most helpful to families.

Competitive Compensation:
  • $3,000 Hiring Bonus:
  • Master's degree: $60,078 - $64,556 annual salary, DOE
  • Bachelor's degree: $54,190 - $58,261 annual salary, DOE
  • Paid mileage and paid travel time
  • 5% bilingual salary add-on for some languages
  • This is a non-exempt position that qualifies for overtime compensation

HOW TO JOIN OUR TEAM:
Minimum Requirements::
  • Graduate or undergraduate degree in social work, psychology, human services or related field.
  • Undergraduate candidates must have at least two years’ experience working with children and families.
  • Valid driver’s license, a vehicle in good working condition, and automobile liability insurance that meets minimum agency requirements.
  • Residence in Pierce County with periodic meetings in our Bremerton office.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule to meet client needs (including some evenings and weekends).
  • Satisfactory completion of a criminal history background check.
  • At least 21 years of age.
