As Clinical Social Work Supervisor, you help support overall wellness by overseeing a dedicated team of Social Workers. Using your clinical expertise, you will strive to deliver exceptional support to assigned cases, ensuring each person feels valued, appreciated and understood. A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM - 4:30PM.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Supervise Social Work staff and oversees daily operations.
• Precept/complete orientation for new caregivers and assure annual competencies and other ongoing training sessions are successfully completed.
• Assist with interviews and completion of annual performance evaluations.
• Arrange schedules, evaluate caseloads and make daily assignments.
• Assist in the development of department practices and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Analyze productivity and other outcome measures to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Serve as a clinical subject matter expert for teams lead by other disciplines.
  
  

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from a college or university accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Valid Driver’s License (VDL) and insurance
• Three to five years of related experience
  
  

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Previous supervisory experience
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, chronic illness, oncology, or palliative care
• Supervision Designation (LISW-S)

Physical Requirements:

• Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
• May require periods of sitting, standing, and the ability to walk to various locations throughout the campus / community to attend meetings or appointments.
• Must have normal or corrected vision.
